Property prices for rent in Johor region

The price per sq.feet in Johor has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1.66. The following month (November) the price had a considerable rise reaching RM 1.92 per sq.feet. The following two months (December, January) went through a rise of 108 % in the rent price per sq.feet rising from RM 1.79 to RM 1.93 per sq.feet. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has risen 105 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price RM 1.86 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price RM 1.96 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).

When referring to the price in Johor(region), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. October has an average price of RM 2,243. During Novemberthe price had a slight fall till RM 2,090. The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong rise of 122 % going from RM 2,166.5 to RM 2,634.5. During the last two months the price has had a considerable rise of 125 % with respect to the previous four months going from RM 2,400.5 a RM 2,990.

The graph displaying the the average rent price per number of bedrooms shows that those with 1 bedroom are the most affordable ones. They are 55 % cheaper than the average price in Johor followed by those with 2 with an average price of RM 2,084. The most affordable properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 32 % cheaper than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at RM 2,153.

Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 4 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of RM 1.49 / sq.feet being RM 2.01 / sq.feet the average for Johor. The properties with the highest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 61 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of RM 2.42 / sq.feet.

With an average cost of RM 3,647 it is 51 % cheaper than the average in Johor. This is followed by "Apartment" with a cost of RM 1,964. Based upon the average cost per sq.feet the most affordable property type is "Link House with a an average price of RM 1.42 / sq.feet, followed by "Terraced House" with a price of RM 1.5 / sq.feet. "House" with an average price of RM 2.3 / sq.feet is the most expensive type of property followed by "Apartment" at a price of RM 2.12 / sq.feet.
