Property prices for rent in Setapak (Kuala Lumpur)
The rent prices in real estate in Setapak, in the Kuala Lumpur region have slightly risen in the last couple of months. There has been a rise in the rent prices in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Setapak has risen during the last 6 months. In November, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1.65. In December this price barely changed remaining at RM 1.7 per sq.feet. In the following two months the price per sq.feet has risen 113 %, going from RM 1.67 to RM 1.89 per sq.feet. The price per sq.feet has risen 110 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of RM 1.78 to RM 1.96 during March, and April.
When referring to the price in Setapak (cities), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. In our first sample month during November, the average price is RM 1,688. In December This price remains at RM 1,716. During the following two months (January, February) the average price had a considerable rise of 125 % with regard to the previous two months. Based on an analysis of the first four prices and the last two months the average price has increased 115 % during the last two months.
