Property prices for sale in Sabah region

The price per sq.feet in Sabah has increased in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was RM 352. The following month the price decreased to RM 333 per sq.feet. The following two months (December, January) went through an increase of 106 % in the price per sq.feet rising from RM 342.5 to RM 362 per sq.feet. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has increased 115 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price RM 352.25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price RM 403.5 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).

Based upon to the price in Sabah(region), this has increased considerably in the last 6 months. October has an average price of RM 681,303. During November the price had a slight deflation till RM 587,924. The average price for the following two months (December, January) increased from RM 634,613.5 to RM 728,813.5. During the last two months the price has had a considerable increase of 164 % with respect to the previous four months going from RM 681,713.5 a RM 1,115,066.

The graph displaying the the average price per number of bedrooms shows that those with 2 bedrooms are the cheapest ones. They are 64 % more affordable than the average price in Sabah followed by those with 1 with an average price of RM 368,600. The cheapest properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 39 % cheaper than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at RM 368,937.

Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 4 bedrooms are the cheapest ones with a price of RM 320 / sq.feet being RM 371 / sq.feet the average value within the Sabah region. The properties with the most expensive average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 92 % more costly than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of RM 439 / sq.feet.

The graph displaying the average price according to the property type shows "Apartment" as the cheapest one. With an average cost of RM 992,062 it is 72 % more affordable than the average in Sabah. This is followed by "Terraced House" with a price of RM 520,740. The dearest property type is "Warehouse" and is 542 % more expensive than the average, followed by "Commercial" with a cost of RM 1,305,861.

Based on the average cost per sq.feet the cheapest property type is "Apartment with a an average cost of RM 289 / sq.feet, followed by "Terraced House" with a price of RM 328 / sq.feet. "Warehouse" with an average price of RM 489 / sq.feet is the most costly type of property followed by "Condominium" at a price of RM 462 / sq.feet.
