The rent prices in real estate in Samarahan, in the Sarawak region have fallen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Samarahan has had a strong fall during the last 6 months. In November, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1. In December this price barely changed remaining at RM 1.01 per sq.feet. In the following two months the price per sq.feet has practically remained the same, going from RM 1 to RM 0.98 per sq.feet. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable fall of 49 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of RM 0.99 to RM 0.49 during March, and April.
When referring to the price in Samarahan (cities), this has fallen in the last 6 months. The rent price in November is RM 1,413, rising in December till RM 1,488. During the following two months (January, February) the price has had an average rise from RM 1,450.5 to RM 1,567. During the last two months the average price has fallen greatly compared to the previous four going from RM 1,508.75 to RM 783.5, which means a 52 % fall.
