The average rent price in the Sarawak region has had a slight rise in recent months. There has been a rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.feet in Sarawak has risen in the last 6 months. During November, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1.71. The following month (December) the price rose to RM 1.9 per sq.feet. The following two months (January, February) went through a rise of 107 % in the rent price per sq.feet rising from RM 1.8 to RM 1.92 per sq.feet. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has risen 105 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price RM 1.87 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price RM 1.96 per sq.feet for the last two months (March, April).
When referring to the price in Sarawak(region), this has risen in the last 6 months. The average rent price in November is RM 1,856. In December the price rose to RM 2,020. The average price for the following two months (January, February) rose from RM 1,938 to RM 2,095. During the last two months the price has gone up 106 % compared to the previous average values going from RM 2,016.5 a RM 2,135 in March y April.

They are 19 % cheaper than the average price in Sarawak followed by those with 3 with an average price of RM 2,152. The most expensive properties have 2 bedrooms. They are 4 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 4 bedrooms priced at RM 2,161.
Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 2 bedrooms are the most expensive ones with a price of RM 40.66 / sq.feet being RM 1.96 / sq.feet the average for Sarawak. The properties with the highest average price are those with 3 bedrooms. These are 4331 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 1 bedroom with a price of RM 57.79 / sq.feet.

Based upon the average cost per sq.feet the most affordable property type is "House with a an average price of RM 1.33 / sq.feet, followed by "Link House" with a price of RM 1.48 / sq.feet. "Semi Detached House" with an average price of RM 234.54 / sq.feet is the most expensive type of property followed by "Terraced House" at a price of RM 22.31 / sq.feet.
