The average rent price in the Negeri Melaka region has had a slight fall in recent months. There has been a fall in the rent prices in this region.
The price per sq.feet in Negeri Melaka has fallen in the last 6 months. During November, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1.56. The following month the price fell to RM 1.37 per sq.feet. The following two months (January, February) went through a fall of 92 % in the rent price per sq.feet with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price has barely changed with regard to the average value for the last 4 months going from an average price per sq.feet of RM 1.41 to RM 1.45 during March and April.
When referring to the price in Negeri Melaka(region), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. In the first month sample November the average price is RM 1,579. In December the price remains at RM 1,542. In the following two months the average price practically remained the same compared to the previous two going from RM 1,560.5 to RM 1,630.5. During the last two months the average price has not gone through any changes and has gone from RM 1,595.5 to RM 1,669.5 during March and April.

They are 6 % cheaper than the average price in Negeri Melaka followed by those with 2 with an average price of RM 1,681. The most expensive properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 7 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at RM 1,694.
Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 4 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of RM 0.98 / sq.feet being RM 1.44 / sq.feet the average for Negeri Melaka. The properties with the highest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 102 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of RM 2.22 / sq.feet.
The graph displaying the average rent price according to the property type shows "Terraced House" as the most affordable one. With an average cost of RM 1,669 it is 13 % cheaper than the average in Negeri Melaka. This is followed by "Condominium" with a cost of RM 1,655. The most expensive property type is "Apartment" and is 14 % more costly than the average, followed by "Semi Detached House" with a cost of RM 1,778.
Based upon the average cost per sq.feet the most affordable property type is "Terraced House with a an average price of RM 0.96 / sq.feet, followed by "Apartment" with a price of RM 1.13 / sq.feet. "Commercial" with an average price of RM 2.39 / sq.feet is the most expensive type of property followed by "House" at a price of RM 1.93 / sq.feet.
