Property prices for rent in Pahang region

The price per sq.feet in Pahang has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was RM 1.82. The following month (November) the price rose to RM 1.96 per sq.feet. In the following two months (December, January) the rent price per sq.feet has increased notably to a 120 %. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has had a significant rise of 126 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of RM 2.08 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of RM 2.62 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).

When referring to the price in Pahang(region), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. In the first month sample October the average price is RM 2,245. In November the price remains at RM 2,253. In the following two months the average price practically remained the same compared to the previous two going from RM 2,249 to RM 2,319. During the last two months the average price has not gone through any changes and has gone from RM 2,284 to RM 2,332 during February and March.

The graph displaying the the average rent price per number of bedrooms shows that those with 1 bedroom are the most affordable ones. They are 22 % cheaper than the average price in Pahang followed by those with 4 with an average price of RM 1,861. The most expensive properties have 2 bedrooms. They are 16 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at RM 2,396.

Based on the average price per sq.feet those properties with 4 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of RM 1.11 / sq.feet being RM 2.56 / sq.feet the average for Pahang. The properties with the highest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 36 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 2 bedrooms with a price of RM 3.28 / sq.feet.

The graph displaying the average rent price according to the property type shows "Terraced House" as the most affordable one. With an average cost of RM 2,339 it is 26 % cheaper than the average in Pahang. This is followed by "Semi Detached House" with a cost of RM 2,113. The most expensive property type is "House" and is 10 % more costly than the average, followed by "Commercial" with a cost of RM 2,380.

Based upon the average cost per sq.feet the most affordable property type is "Serviced Residence with a an average price of RM 0.81 / sq.feet, followed by "Terraced House" with a price of RM 1.15 / sq.feet. "Commercial" with an average price of RM 4.09 / sq.feet is the most expensive type of property followed by "House" at a price of RM 2.94 / sq.feet.
