The prices in real estate in Gombak, in the Selangor region have had a strong rise in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have gone through a strong increase in this city.
The price per sq.feet in Gombak has increased strongly during the last 6 months. In February, the average price per sq.feet was RM 369. In March this price pretty much remained the same at a value of RM 366 per sq.feet. In the following two months the price per sq.feet has increased 109 %, going from RM 367.5 to RM 399 per sq.feet. The price per sq.feet has had a considerable increase of 280 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per sq.feet of RM 383.25 to RM 1,071.5 during June, and July.
Based upon to the price in Gombak (cities), these have remained the same in the last 6 months. In our first sample month during February, the average price is RM 564,375. In March This price remains at RM 547,240. During the following two months (April, May) the average price had a considerable increase of 117 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months, the average price has reduced with regard to the previous ones. To be precise it has gone down 88 %, going from RM 603,247 to RM 529,661.5 in June and July.
